For fall I wanted to design something darker and with more saturated color than the usual Eskayel look. I realized this might not be the best color story for walls or fabric though. I am introducing some new, fun, less expensive floor mats with some cool new patterns, called the Jenu mats and these are some of my inspiration reference. Most of the interiors shots below are from the book Interiors ’70 featuring the interior photographs of Carla De Benedetti from the 1970′s.
I miss my awesome intern Kate so much! She sent me a picture of her dorm apartment decorated with our Aquarius pattern on a pillow and a wall hanging.
Its kind of unfortunate how “California” I still sound even though I have not lived there for 18 years!
