Briana DeVoe White is a junior designer at Eskayel who has been with the company since 2014. She manages much of Eskayel’s in-house photography, production art, and graphic design. Briana has contributed patterns to Eskayel’s artist collections in collaboration with creative director Shanan Campanaro which can be seen in the Dalili Collection, Jamaa series I, and Jamaa Series II.
Briana grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico and after earning her BA is Studio Art from Wheaton College, went on to study textile design at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA. Her inspiration comes from an innate need to create and to be in communion with the materials and process of artmaking. Madison Stirling worked as a part of Eskayel’s design team for three years until recently moving to the “upcountry” region of Maui. Madison has contributed patterns to Eskayel’s artist collections in collaboration with creative director Shanan Campanaro which can be seen in the Dalili Collection and Jamaa Series I.
Raised in the western hills of Connecticut, Madison found a love for nature at an early age. She remembers her biggest curiosity being the ocean and eventually went on to study marine biology after high school. Though she continues to be inspired foremost by the sea, she ultimately received her BFA in fashion design at Parsons. Olivia Provey
Olivia Provey is an assistant designer at Eskayel and has been with the company for two years. She assists with Eskayel’s in house photography, production art, and graphic design. Olivia has contributed her non-repeating pattern to Eskayel’s artists collections in collaboration with creative director Shanan Campanaro. It can be seen in the Jamaa Series II. Olivia grew up in Sandy Hook, CT and received a BA in Visual Arts with a concentration in Printmaking from Eastern Connecticut State University. She is a painter and illustrator whose work is inspired by the relationship between nature and femininity.
Tor Sauder is an interior designer who worked in the Eskayel studio for over two years until becoming a permanent fixture of NUNE, a residential design firm in NYC. Tor has contributed patterns to Eskayel’s Dalili Collection, in collaboration with creative director Shanan Campanaro.
Tor grew up in Vancouver, Canada but moved to NYC from London, UK where she studied interior design, formalizing her change in career path. Her curiosity is piqued by the interplay of scale, proportion and form and by the way in which natural materials relate to one another, varying in texture, finish and age. With a love for simplicity, she is moved by the simple notion that space can impact the way we think and feel.
