Quotidiana Thalassa – Hand-Knotted Rug
Hand-Knotted in NepalLEARN MORE
Initially created as a pattern for high end wallpaper and fabric, Quotidiana has transitioned into the world of luxury rugs. Birthed from a series of paintings depicting scenes from within an apartment and office, the original pattern intricately weaves these views together and then deconstructed and abstracted to create a sophisticated new rug design. Pushing surface design further with new materials and techniques has become an integral part of the Eskayel rug design process. Quotidiana is the most recent result of this exploration and example of thoughtful design that melds profound hues, sumptuous silks and wool blends, with skilled weaving techniques.Â
Thalassa is a cool colored hand knotted rug filled with dark blue, teal, turquoise, a green blue mixed color, and spots of white. Quotidiana is available in seven colorways.Â
Eskayel hand-knotted rugs are woven to order and can be customized in various sizes, colors, materials, and weave constructions. The price of a rug is dependent on the final combination of these elements which can be engineered to fit your budget.
