Costa Rica’s consistent waves and natural beauty are a perennial source of artistic inspiration for painter and Eskayel founder Shanan Campanaro.

The region’s flora offered the source material for the richly colored wallpaper and fabric collection, Nicoyán. With imagery borrowing from scenes at a swimming pool, the Pétalos pattern depicts flowers and leaves floating on a wavy, loose grid.

Tropical branches and foliage casting sharp shadows in the midday sun formed the inspiration for the Plumeria Shadows pattern. And tree leaves contrasting against a background field of color form the basis of Alhelí, a tiny repeating pattern in celebration of tropical plant life.
