Since launching Eskayel in 2008, we’ve combined creativity with care to produce painterly studio-made wallpapers, fabrics, hand-knotted rugs, pillows, and art prints, all made to order, all based on original artwork. Artisanal, eco-friendly, and enduring, Eskayel originates with human hands and is never mass produced.

Every one of our hand-painted patterns begins as an original watercolor by Eskayel founder Shanan Campanaro. Based on captivating destinations and striking details from nature, these transportive paintings are then translated into bespoke wallpapers, small-batch fabrics, hand-knotted rugs, and art prints that interior designers specify for their most considered projects. 

With so many of our designs inspired by the natural world, preserving the planet underpins everything we do. We use natural materials like water-based pigment inks and sustainable fibers that won’t hurt you or the environment. We work exclusively with trusted, transparent production partners and make all of our goods to order to eliminate stock waste. Our fabrics, wallpapers, pillows, and art prints are produced in the U.S. to reduce the environmental impact of shipping.
