Our Artists

Eskayel creative director Shanan Campanaro is an artist working in ink and water whose creations are inspired by nature and travel. Raised in San Diego, Shanan’s background includes reform school in Idaho, an incomplete math and physics undergrad program at Southern Oregon University, Italian and art history studies in Italy, German language studies in Switzerland, and a fine art degree from Central St Martins. Since launching Eskayel in 2008, she has created over 500 patterns and murals for wallpaper, fabric, and rugs. 

Jaime Derringer is a self-taught artist who creates abstract drawings, paintings, mixed media works, sculptures, and textiles. Jaime founded Design-Milk.com in 2006 and grew the brand to over a million readers and 9 million social followers, becoming one of the most popular destinations for design, interior design, and architecture. Eskayel’s Sea Galaxy pattern is the result of a design collaboration between Jamie and creative director Shanan Campanaro. 

Melodie Allegre is an artist and designer on the Eskayel creative team whose colorful and playful designs are influenced by her love of the sea and whatever coastline is nearby. Alongside her own emerging line of products, she recently launched her first collaboration with Eskayel.

Gordon Hull is a New York-based artist and creative director. His Vol de Nuit pattern in collaboration with Eskayel is a design based on his enchanted multimedia artwork.

Olivia Provey is an artist and designer from Brooklyn, New York, whose paintings are inspired by nature, organic forms, and femininity. Her contributions to Eskayel include Majorelle from the Jamaa Collection as well as two solo collections, Edera and Water Signs.

Madison Stirling is an artist and designer based in Oregon whose patterns appear in Eskayel’s artist collections. Designed in collaboration with creative director Shanan Campanaro, these include the Dalili Collection and Jamaa Series I.

Santa Fe-based Briana Devoe White is an artist and designer who contributed patterns to Eskayel’s artist collections in collaboration with creative director Shanan Campanaro. Briana’s work appears in Eskayel’s Dalili Collection, Jamaa series I, and Jamaa Series II.

Following over two years in the Eskayel studio, interior designer Victoria Sauder is a partner at NUNE, a residential design firm based in New York and London. In collaboration with creative director Shanan Campanaro, Tor contributed patterns to Eskayel’s Dalili Collection.
